Clarence the Candymaker rubbed his hands gleefully. Today, he would introduce the world to a whole new kind of Valentine's Day candy. It was going to be called.
"Ahhh, let's see, what should it be called?" Clarence wondered. "I've got a good one. Say hello to, The Clarence Bar. hmm, not good enough."
The Valentines candy had chocolate, peanuts, buttermilk, and his secret recipe...
"My secret recipe is what? You say. Well, after they get one whiff of the secret recipe, they will go into a DEEEPPPP SLEEEPPP. Once they wake up, tada! They will do whatever I tell them to. Then, I can rule the World! Mwahahahahaha! Cough cough." He chuckled. He pulled out one of the bars of chocolate. It looked so scrumptious! He looked at the yummy bar hoping to think of a name for it.
"The Clarence's Scrumpdidaliumptous bar! That's a good name." He was proud of his new candy invention. It was his best candy yet. He thought about one more ingredient that he could add into the creamy, delicious chocolate bar.
"Caramel! That's what it needs." He added a hint of caramel, and sniffed in the great smell of chocolate and caramel. He laughed, then made an evil smile, then yawned.
"This smells so good. Man I'm tired. I think I might take a nap." He lay down, closed his eyes, and went into a DEEEPPPP SLEEEPPP.

I walked into the place that was dreaded by thousands. I wanted to walk out but I couldn't. I was at the doctor's office. I was getting a check-up but I knew what was going to end up happening. The doctor was always happy to see me; I didn't ever like to see her. Not that I didn't like her, it was just that I don't like going to the doctor's office. Once I was finished with the check-up part, she suggested the terrible thing.
"You should get your flu shot today also." My face turned red. I couldn't imagine the long, pointy needle going into my skin. It made me sick. I hate shots! Why would she do this to me?
"You're not going to believe this, but... So, you would put this in my arm, right?" I asked.
"Yes." She answered. I couldn't believe I was about to say this but I had to.
"Well, a few days ago I was... Skydiving." I said. That was the best thing I could come up with. "When I jumped out of the plane I was fine, but when I was getting closer to the ground my parachute went out of control. I swerved, and turned, and was flying everywhere! I finally hit a tree about twenty feet above the ground. I was stuck in the tree though. Then I fell out of the tree, and fell fifteen feet onto a mattress truck, luckily. But when I fell out of the tree I hit my arm on one of the branches and it's all bruised up. That's why I can't get my flu shot."
She looked at me bewildered.
"Can't I just give you the shot on your other arm?" She asked. Uh-oh. I forgot I had another arm. But I was relentless.
"Oh... My other arm. Well, um. That night, I was jumping on my bed. After watching a scary horror movie I was scared of practically everything! So, my mom knocked on my bedroom door, but it scared me so I fell off my bed and bruised that arm too! Isn't that crazy? So that's why I can't get a flu shot." I said.
"Okay," the doctor said, "You can come in on April 15." Yikes! that was two weeks from today!
"Well, you won't believe this but on April 15..."

I wish to be a writer when I grow up. Then I will publish books about my school life and how there were funny times, jubilant times, and sad times. One reason I like writing and want to be a writer when I grow up is because I express my thoughts into the writing and get some bad thoughts out and get good thoughts in. I will also write about how life was like now and how it is different from life in the future. Sometimes writing for me is just for fun and to get some of the thoughts roaming in my mind out. I think writing is a good thing to do in your free time.

My new years resolution is to have more hope in myself. I think that I should improve on having hope in myself because sometimes I don't believe I can do things. I will improve on hope by never giving up and encouraging myself. I will also improve by telling myself that I can do things if I put my mind to it, even if it will be hard to accomplish. I hope that I can achieve these goals by the end of 2013.

This is a beautiful sweater from Nordstrom's. The red and brown compliment each other greatly. It's so comfortable, and it's sewn by the softest wool. The sweaters just great! It's so nice because the sweater will look good on anyone. You can even use it as a blanket because of it's softness.

Dear Nana,

Although your not my mom or dad you have been taking care of me since I was Three months old. I consider you as a grandma but your not and you mean so much to me in my life. I look back and I remember all those times I was upset or angry but you always made me feel better if you talked to me and you had to sometimes go through when I was having a temper tantrum but you always calmed me down. You've done so many great things for me and can't thank you enough for how much you've done with my family.

Love,
Garrett

Funny you should ask what would I do if I were Dr. Ebeling. Actually, I've gotten to experience that in second grade. I would have Fridays as wear your clothes backward day and declare that we had breakfast at school on Mondays just to make us excited to maybe have some pancakes or waffles to wake us up. You could even bring your dog to school and take them to classes and lunch and recess. Well, that would be the average week of school if I were Dr. Ebeling.

"Hello sunlight, how are you doing," mumbled the chloroplast.
"I'm great, I've just been exercising! Why don't you sound so good chloroplast, its been a bright and sunny day, what wrong?"
"I'm tired because I was up until 4:00 in the morning trying to explain to nucleus that two plus two isn't five, its four. I also have a test at school for animal cells, I have to learn about the cell membrane and cytoplasm."
"Well don't frown we can play a game or maybe have a nice chat."
"go away!" screamed the chloroplast.
"You shouldn't yell at me, I'm the one who gives you sunlight so you can survive, so don't be mean to me."
" I'm sorry, I'm just having a bad day, I'm sorry."
So they gave each other a hug and they started talking about something else.
